I am so excited to be doing my second post on my blog! I hope you are enjoying it so far and that you will leave me some love so I know someone is reading lol! Anyway, today I thought I would bring you a little before and after action. This was actually so scary for me to post, but hey I figure if it helps you guys see the difference – then why not! Anyway the photo is pretty self explanatory. I did my makeup to go out for coffee with a friend. I so enjoyed sitting outside on November 1st, sipping my Starbucks. It was actually so warm I didn’t even need a jacket! I was shocked!

I am wearing four shades of our Eye Pigments – did you know that Younique messed up the catalogue pricing and are honouring the printed price for a limited time? They are! Normally these eye pigments are $15 each but as a four pack they are just $35US/$42CA! What a deal – and seriously these babies are big and will last a long time. I am wearing:

Curious I used on my brow bone down to my crease and also to blend in the end. I used Confident on my crease and blended it into Daring on my lid. I did my lash line in Infatuated.

And of course my 3D Fibre Lash Mascara!

These are definitely my go to colours – especially for a day look. But you can mix up the way you apply it so that it makes a great evening look too!

Younique 3D Fiber Lash Mascara – nothing beats it!

Good morning and welcome to my brand new blog! I am so excited, I just became a Younique presenter in September and I am loving every minute and every success so far. I love spreading confidence to women and that is what Younique products are good for. It is not just makeup, it is self-esteem. I will admit, I was not really a makeup-wearer. I am only wore makeup when going out for dinner or going out with friends but now that I have tried Younique and realize how easy it is to look my best, I wear it everyday! (well except couch days ;)) It literally takes me 5-10 minutes to put on full makeup – love it!

Here are some photos of me wearing Younique 3D mascara:

What a difference it makes! I can’t get over how amazing it is! It looks like I’m wearing false lashes but I’m not! I have now said goodbye to glue, fake lashes, pulling out my lashes and the overall pain of putting them on! and hello to Younique 3D Fiber Lash Mascara! The mascara makes your lashes up to 300% longer! It is all natural – the fibers are made out of green tea leaves, it is organic and safe to use for contact wearers. It is also water resistant but you can remove it by just washing with water and a cloth. I just love it and it is the best mascara I have ever used!

How to use it: there are two ways:

You can use your own mascara first if you want…then… this is OPTIONAL – Experiment with it! See what works for you!

  1. Step 1: Apply the transplanting gel
  2. Step 2: Apply the Fibres (the same way as you apply mascara)
  3. Step 3: Apply the transplanting gel again

Tips:

  • Don’t put to close to your lash line, it may cause some irritation.
  • Make sure you put a good coat of transplanting gel in step 3 to cover the fibers so they do not fall into your eyes.
  • Use the lash brush if you get any clumps. I don’t get clumps when using it with one or two coats, when I go heavier then I use the brush.
  • Do one eye at a time so the transplanting gel doesn’t dry before the fibers can stick on!

What I also find amazing are the detailed ingredients list! They even describe each ingredient and what it does! No garbage in this makeup – just high quality products. Here is an example for the 3D fibre lash mascara:

Transplanting Gel Ingredients: Water, Beeswax (Natural Propolis), Carnauba (Brazilian palm glue), Iron Oxide Cl 77499 (Black), Collagen, Acrylates Copolymer, Nylon, Stearic Acid, Propylene Glycol. .23 FL OZ / 7 ml

Natural Fibers Ingredients: 100% Natural Fibers taken from Green Tea. Net WT .02 OZ/ .5g.

Collagen is a type of protein that works with elastin to give skin its texture, structure, and appearance. It contains antioxidants, and may help add volume and shine to the appearance of eyelashes.

Water (Aqua) is the liquid of life! Hydrates and cleanses the skin, and works as a natural spreading component, helping to distribute other ingredients evenly over the skin.

Beeswax (Natural Propolis) is a brownish, resinous material collected by bees and believed to have antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.

Carnauba (Brazilian Palm Glue) is extracted and refined through a pressing and crushing process that turns the palm glue into an oil, creating the sticky nature of the transplanting gel. It is also believed to act as a natural preservative.

Iron Oxide Cl 77499 (Black) is a technical name for Black Iron Oxide. This naturally-occurring mineral acts a colorant, giving the gel its striking black color.

Acrylates Copolymer is an adhesive and binder, as well as a suspending agent.

Nylon is a powder substance that is used as an absorbent and thickening agent.

Stearic Acid (also known as Palmitic Acid) is an organic nutrient derived from palm trees that is often used to soothe and soften the skin.

Propylene Glycol is a humidifying and delivery ingredient.
